Located near N. Taft and Drake, our home dojang is a 300-square-foot remodeled basement. Though it might seem strange to have a class in a basement, our space is fully equipped, permitted, and insured like any other martial arts facility in the city. The home we are in has a side business entrance and used to be an in-home care facility. Since we do not have to pay the high cost of Fort Collins business space, we are able to offer more affordable martial arts instruction and more 1:1 time as our classes are maxed at 6 students.
Pricing
Classes are $15 per class, families are billed monthly for the upcoming month. New students will have a $35 one-time, new student fee that includes: a t-shirt, uniform, and white belt. New students must start at the beginning of a month.
The 2-3-year-old class does not have a new student fee as this is a specialty program that does not have belt ranks or uniforms as part of the requirements.
Our studio offers sparring gear for students in class, so you do not have to purchase additional materials. Any student in the sparring class will receive a mouthguard from us. Sparring gear is sanitized after each class.
Class Schedule
Classes are 45 minutes, Students are expected to be in uniform before class starts. Classes begin the week of June 1st, new students start at the beginning of each month.
Age 2-3 Class:
Tots must be accompanied by someone who is able to help the child complete tasks during class.
Sparring Class:
Sparring is Taekwondo combat, students wear protective gear with the goal of scoring points by punching and kicking their peers.
Low Sensory Class:
This class is for students who would benefit from a quiet environment and is limited to 4 students. In traditional Taekwondo we yell when we kick, punch, and complete forms. Even kicking paddles can make loud noises, this class will not have these elements. We can accommodate different needs in all of our classes and this one is specifically set up for kids who need a less stimulating environment.
Family Class:
This is an option for families adult(s) and child(ren) who want to learn Taekwondo together.
